Cannabis Council of Canada adds industry veteran and Sensi Brands’ CEO Tony Giorgi to its Board

July 15, 2021 - Ottawa, ON - The Cannabis Council of Canada (“C3”) is pleased to announce the addition of Mr. Tony Giorgi, founder and CEO of Sensi Brands Inc. (“Sensi Brands”), to its board of directors. Mr. Giorgi’s executive suite experience in the information technology sector and his previous cannabis industry experience as the founding CEO of The Flowr Corp, bring proven expertise in technology, manufacturing, and licensed cannabis to C3’s leadership.

“On behalf of C3’s Board of Directors, I wish to extend a warm welcome to Mr. Giorgi” said Mr. Rick Savone Chair of the C3 Board and Senior Vice President, Global Government Relations, Aurora Cannabis. “Tony’s 25+ years of business experience, as both a founder and an executive of many successful businesses, will help C3 advocate for the changes needed to support the success of Canada’s licensed cannabis companies and the accomplishment of legalization’s public policy objectives,” he concluded.

Based in St. Thomas, Ontario, Sensi Brands Inc. is a licensed cannabis cultivation, processing, and consumer packaged goods company.
